Projects
Callabonna has three uranium exploration projects across Australia. The projects comprise the Curnamona project in the Frome Embayment South Australia, the Georgetown project in northern Queensland and the Arunta project near Alice Springs in the Northern Territory. The highlight of the uranium portfolio is the flagship project, Curnamona, with a high potential for the discovery of sandstone-hosted uranium mineralisation. It is strategically positioned in a structural and stratigraphic setting comparable to and in proximity of Beverley and Beverley Four Mile uranium mine. Callabonna will also explore for unconformity style uranium at the Georgetown project and calcrete-hosted uranium at the Arunta project.
Callabonna, through its subsidiary Callabonna Energy Pty Ltd, also holds 6 geothermal exploration licences (GEL) and 3 GEL applications covering 4,354 km2 in South Australia over one of the hottest parts of the South Australian Heat Flow Anomaly, in the same area of the Curnamona uranium project.
